Cdawg turned 4!

My baby turned four on the 5th. so sad. He is growing up so fast! His new thing is skateboarding, so for his bday we were lucky enough to get a board and a signed poster from Jamie Thomas himself. Talk about awesome. He has a new idol now and has me take him to the skate park every day and has informed me that he wants to grow his hair out also. boy oh boy.




He also got a cool bike that Nana and Papa got him!

I have been busy with Holidays, and my parents have been in town. Jesse and I have been looking at a new place to live, Carter had one birthday party with my parents yesterday. I am trying to get some stuff together for an Etsy shop, and Lilah is, Lilah, she sleeps. I will get pics up today of whats been going on!

Weekend..

Every sunday it seems, we end up at my sisters house and watch football. Every sunday Carter wants Jill to put on her jersey, because he has his on.... this weekend she got it out and the kiddos took turns wearing it.

Li doesnt like it. HAHA!! Boo Moss.

Till Twilight comes out. What more do I have to say? Oh yeah. I am crazy and going to a midnight showing of it. Yeah, I am TwiHard.

I do try to eat better, I do. I am trying to workout more now that I can. I actually made it to the gym last night! go me. I went for a walk today. woo! But then I think, "oh fried zucchini..oh that sounds yummy". But thats okay because its a veggie right?? No. That is where the "cheat" meal comes in and that is when Twisted Sisters Cheat is handy. This is our new blog that we are going to do. We (my sis and I) will be eating out once a week and then blogging about it. Something for us to so called reward ourselves for being good. old..but funny.

I am deleting my myspace and I was looking at my old blogs on there and came across this. Its from June 06.


Chicken heads.
At lunch today Carter was quiet the ham.. or should I say Chicken Head. He had Jill and I rolling on the floor at Islands. I have not laughed so hard in such a long time. The servers were getting a kick out of him as well. One of the girls said to Carter "you are so adorable". Do you want to know what Carter said back? do you? You sure? Fine.. He said "I know". Then he continued to flirt with the girl and I told him to stop and eat his lunch. He shot me a look that said "mom you are messing with my game".
Carter was eating chicken fingers. Yes I know Chickens dont have fingers.. But Tikis dont have tenders either. So anyways..Carter was eating the chicken and decided it was a great time to brush his hair. He was not using a brush, but he was using the chicken. I kept telling him to get the chicken of his head, then it turned into chicken head.
Man, I swear. It is so hard for me to get mad at this child when he is being a clown and he is so cute.

non dairy items

I cant have dairy. It sucks, but its for a good cause, making Lilah a happy girl! I am in love with good tasting items as well, so I am on a mission to find yummy non dairy goodies. My first attempt at cookies didnt turn out so great, in fact, they were nasty and I have learned I cant stand "fake" chocolate. So I made these.

Oatmeal and apricot cookies:
1 3/4 cups of flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup vegan butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup of soy milk
1 Tbl vanilla
1 1/2 cup of oatmeal
some dried apricots chopped.

preheat oven to 375.
wax paper on cookie sheets.

mix butter, brown sugar and soy till creamy. Add in flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla and mix. Add in Oatmeal and apricots. Scoop out and put on cookie sheet and bake for about 15 mins.

I would have pics, but I made half a batch last night and um, they are all gone.

Obsessions.

Obsessions. We all have them. Mine is just a little strange right now.

Yes, those are diapers. I am in love. Hubby has put me on a short leash with diapers. Well not really. He wanted me to figure out which ones work best for Lilah and I thought I did. I found two that I "loved" and needed more. But for some reason this other one (the pink and black one above) stuck out to me and I bought it without telling him. It came in the mail so fast, I washed it and stuck it on her and fell in love. I had to get another, and I bought a cover that is so cute. Its hard to find cute covers, trust me. Angela is the rock star mama that makes these, you can find her at Sugar Shack Baby over on Hyena Cart.
